I'm soooo soooorrry!

June 12, 2007

If we wrong someone, of course if at all possible we should make the wrong right, and at the very least apologize.  Yet even though we may have hurt the person involved, our crime first and foremost was against God. But, wait for it; are you sitting comfortably? There’s no need to repent and turn to God to wash away your sins any more, just ring the Apology Line, and confess your guilt, and you can go away with a clear conscience What? Do I hear a gasp? Yep, that’s right, along with every other Biblical moral and precept being over-turned, we in merry ole England now have an apology line where we can "cleanse our consciences." Don’t worry if cleansing your conscience in this way, leads you to hell of course, just as long as you feel good, that’s okay then."  Another case of man helping save himself, if ever I saw one; and an example of folks putting the evil day far from them. Isa. 22:12-13; and Amos vi. 3

(the above is written tongue in cheek and full of irony of course, some would call it sarcasm. But sometimes–things just leave you aghast!)
